God's love

French Press Mornings Print - Psalm 63:3 #encouragingwednesdays #fcwednesdaywisdom #quotes

I have been neglecting God's word lately as I have been overwhelmed and a little stressed, especially with school last term. But God kept me through all I had to do. (school and I aren't exactly best buddies) Though this term I handed school over to God, and he has guided me through each and every task I needed to complete. I know he will never leave me. For God is a loving God. I felt like this term I was flying through all those scientific equations, algebra questions and the like!  And yes, I did stress a little, but God was there reminding me of his word.

And that's were the verses below have helped me.

Philippians 4:6,7.  “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

I especially love the Matthew 11:28-30 verse. His word is full of the most nutritious food you will ever eat. It will nourish you, and clean you .

I also found this quote
"If you find your self a bit irritated or overwhelmed it's a sign that you are spending less time with God and more time with this world"

I believe every word of this quote is true. So I want to encourage you all to spend more and more time with God. He will lead you, and show you what he wants you to do♥♥

  1. Lovely post, dear Tinyde! And so true! We don't need to be anxious about anything, for God is holding us. And another thing that encourages me is having a kingdom mindset. When we get swept away with worries of THIS world sometimes we need to stop and think about if the thing we are stressing about going to really matter in eternity. A lot of the things we worry ourselves about are things that will pass away. It's a good reminder that we are citizens of heaven and not of this world.

And I agree! That quote is very true! When we aren't in God's Word we feel a major difference because we aren't focusing on what really matters and tuning in with the One who can get us through anything and who is very trustworthy <3

P.S. Btw I left you comments on my blog :)
